I have been looking for ways to minimize bruising caused by purpura on my hands and forearms. When I have the glove on, I can rest my hand on the other arm to help with the bruises on my forearms. It has helped tremendously in reducing the "shock effect" that the bruises have; I have also noted a slight decrease in receiving a bruise when I bang my hand/forearm or the dog jumps on me. It does not cure the purpura, but it helps reduce the bruises.
