Camp Discovery offers kids with chronic and complex skin conditions a safe, inclusive summer camp experience. Under the care of volunteer dermatologists and nurses, campers enjoy a week of adventure, friendship, and personal growth with peers who understand their challenges.
This year, we highlighted the initiative with Dr. Susan Boiko, MD. Because of our continued support, the AAD has opened 2 new camps, and last year our donation sent 15 kids to Camp Discovery 2024.
Best of all, Camp Discovery is entirely free, with all costs covered by the American Academy of Dermatology through generous donations.
